INTERNATIONAL SOPRANO
During the last two years Sonya has performed mostly in London and Vienna, where she collaborated with German Lieder expert Professor Walter Moore.

She recently gave a recital of Australian compositions organised by the Australian High Commission in Britain.

Other London performances have included Handel's Messiah, Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Bruckner's Te Deum. In September, Sonya will appear at the Fairfield Proms Concert.

During her "spare" time she has given four acclaimed recitals on board the cruise ship the QE2.

Sonya has recently concluded the Morley Opera Course at London's Morley College where she performed scenes as Fiordiligi, Donna Elvira, Romilda, and Tatanya with leading directors from the English National Opera.

In London Sonya studies with world renowned singer/teacher Ameral Gunson, and is coached by the famous vocal coach / accompanist Professor Paul Hamburger, who made many recordings with Dame Janet Baker.

Professor Hamburger says: "Sonya is among the best singers I have ever encountered in my working life."
