Patti, a competent vocalist receiving distinctions/credits in classical singing fifth grade at Elder Conservatorium, started her band in 1974 before teaming up with Rodney as "Kingfisher" in 1978. Patti plays guitar, has a working ability on keyboards and recently learnt to yodel further expanding her vocal agility.

Rodney as a keyboardist/accordionist played old time dance music in the sixties before starting his own 6 piece band in 1971.

"Kingfisher" (now "The two of us") uses sequenced backing in order to provide a versatile high quality performance affordably.

Patti and Rodney have a repertoire of over 350 songs dating from back before your time up to current popular material, something for everyone.
