Bel Canto Opera Company is acutely aware of the remarkable talent of some of our young musicians in South Australia and it is with this in mind that we have developed the Future Artist Programs.

The programs are for Musicians including Opera singers.

FAPA offers a window into the future by providing opportunities for young musicians to perform at the highest level. These initiatives are designed to assist them in achieving their personal and professional goals while promoting the institutions that have developed and nurtured their special gifts.

Past audiences at our Opera concerts or our Playing Up! concert at Elder Hall in September 2001 have already enthusiastically received special performances from students drawn from some of Adelaide's most musically orientated schools and colleges ( Past Performers).

These performances were sponsored by Allans Music, 5UV Adelaide and Adelaide University.

Ewart Shaw hosted the Playing Up! Concert and subsequently put to air two radio programs featuring these Future Artists which was recorded on the night. Each performer was eligible to have a CD copy made for their further promotion.

If you, your music department or organisation would like to participate, we can offer you an opportunity to be involved in one of our concert programs.
